Download everything certo holds about you, erase your account, change your e-mail address, and leave a company you act for. All from Account.

Everything here is on Account, which you open from the menu. How certo handles each kind of data is in your data and, field by field, in the privacy policy.
Download a copy
Under Your data, Download a copy gives you one zip file with everything certo holds about you.
Inside is a file of your data: your account, passport, identity check and date of birth, records, confirmations, certificates, verification requests and their trail, who asked to read your passport, approvals, who opened it, payments, and your mobile and sign-in trail. Beside it are your photos, documents and signed certificates.
The trail names an organisation's role and domain, never a person's address.
Erase your account
Erase my account removes your passport and your sign-in for good. It cannot be undone.
- Choose Erase…. The page lists what goes and what is kept.
- Choose E-mail me a code. We send a code to your sign-in address.
- Enter the code and choose Erase everything.

Every access you granted ends, a sponsoring employer's too. Every pending request is withdrawn, and your passport subscription is cancelled at once: nothing renews and nothing more is charged.
Your address can sign up again later, as a new account.
If you are a company's only owner, make someone else an owner, or leave the company, first.
Change your e-mail address
Under Sign-in and security, type your New e-mail address and choose Send the codes. We e-mail a code to each address, the old and the new: enter both. You keep signing in with the current address until the change is confirmed.
Your sign-in address is also one of your contact details, and it follows the change. The new address follows the same rule as any account: your plain address, with no "+" before the @.
Your mobile number
Your verified mobile protects your account, and certo writes to referees only from an account that has one. Mobile numbers only: no internet, landline or virtual numbers. Verify it under Mobile number.
Leave a company
If you act for a company on certo, it is listed under Companies and roles. Choose Leave and confirm. You lose access to its console straight away, and only an owner or an admin can invite you back.
You cannot leave as a company's only owner: make somebody else an owner first.
